This is an entry-level position. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills are required. Six months of related experience is preferred.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Routine Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and dusting - you'll keep our spaces sparkling clean.

Trash Management: Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring common areas stay tidy.

Event Support: Assist with event setup and breakdown - be part of the action!

Team Collaboration: Work alongside other custodial staff to keep things running smoothly.

Detail-Oriented Cleaning: From flooring to ceilings, you'll use the right supplies to make everything shine.

Flexible Hours for Students: We understand your academic commitments. Our work schedule is flexible with you, with 4-hour shifts available.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency that may be required

Nearly Continuously: Office environment. Seldom: Hazards (includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals). Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking, walking. Often: Bending, reaching overhead, twisting. Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Janitor, I: Requires little to no related experience.
