Job Title: Japanese & English Bilingual Data Governance Consultant
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $64.55/hr W2
Overview
Seeking a Japanese and English bilingual consultant to support AD's Sponsored Repo enablement following the FOX Upgrade Project. The role focuses on downstream data flow rationalization, governance, and migration to a unified Golden Source Architecture with Izumi as the enterprise data hub.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 – Discovery- Identify systems referencing FOX (including non-RDB consumers)
- Map data flows, dependencies, and document current-state architecture
- Lead stakeholder workshops and produce discovery report
Phase 2 – Design Governance- Lead requirements sessions (ingestion logic, batch logic)
- Produce functional/non-functional requirements
- Govern solution design reviews and maintain traceability documentation
Phase 3 – Validation Oversight- Define data parity validation strategy and acceptance criteria
- Lead defect triage and review test results
- Produce validation summary and sign-off documentation
Phase 4 – Transition Management- Define migration strategy for downstream systems
- Coordinate cutover planning and readiness assessments
- Produce migration runbooks and lead go/no-go decisions
Qualifications- Japanese & English bilingual (required)
- Strong experience in data governance, architecture, and enterprise data migration
- Financial services experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills
