Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Java Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, the Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and modern Android development practices. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java.

• Build responsive, secure, and high-performance mobile applications.

• Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.

• Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize applications for speed, memory usage, and battery efficiency.

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android best practices.

• Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews.

• Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects.

• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.

• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architecture discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Android application development.

• Strong proficiency in Java.

• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.

• Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and architecture.

• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, or other local storage solutions.

• Experience with Git and version control systems.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin.

• Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.

• Experience using Android Jetpack components.

• Familiarity with Firebase services.

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.

• Knowledge of Material Design principles.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.

• Experience with Google Maps, Camera, Location, and Push Notifications.
