Job Description: Description for Internal Candidates: Software Engineer - Microservices & Real-time Systems (Java/Spring Boot/AWS) The Role: We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our solutions deployed on GCP. This role will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and integration of real-time systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
Implement and integrate with Google cloud services for infrastructure, scalability, and performance optimization.
Experience in deploying services using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Develop and maintain well-documented REST APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems.
Experience integrating with mobile applications and other third-party APIs.
Participate in the design and development of real-time systems for efficient data processing and responsiveness.
Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product) to ensure project success.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software development landscape.
Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development.
Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Database, and microservices architecture.
In-depth knowledge of GCP services (e.g., GKE, Spanner, CRF) and experience with deployment strategies.
Experience with REST APIs and API design principles.
Experience integrating with mobile applications and/or third-party APIs a plus.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage real-time systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
