Java Application Support Developer.

IDR is seeking a Java Application Support Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting complex enterprise applications within the public assistance program sector, ensuring system stability and troubleshooting incidents effectively.

Position Overview for the Java Application Support Developer:

• Provide support for enterprise-level Java applications related to public assistance programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Child Care.
• Analyze logs, system behavior, and code to identify root causes of application issues.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for application incidents impacting critical functionality.
• Collaborate with functional, testing, and development teams to validate solutions and document findings.
• Maintain accurate incident and defect records to support ongoing system improvement.

Requirements for the Java Application Support Developer.:

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience within complex enterprise applications.
• Experience with one of the public assistance programs such as: SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) Child Care assistance programs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug Java applications and resolve application defects.
• Experience analyzing application logs, code, data, and system behavior to identify root causes.
• Experience supporting production and/or test-environment incidents.
