Akkodis is seeking a Java & AWS Developer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and delivering scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices while driving technical design and development initiatives.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java & AWS Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Spring Boot and cloud-native AWS technologies.
Lead technical design activities by translating business and functional requirements into robust system architectures and application solutions.
Develop, test, and deploy applications using Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD best practices.
Build and support cloud solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and related technologies to ensure scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to review designs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Provide technical guidance to team members, perform code reviews, investigate production issues, and drive continuous improvement across development processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6-8 years of experience in Java application development, cloud-native software engineering, and enterprise application delivery.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Proven experience in technical design, Test-Driven Development (TDD), API development, cloud-based application deployment, troubleshooting, and leading development efforts within Agile environments.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
