Job Description
Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Java Azure Developer for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality software solutions using Azure, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that enhance user experience.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Utilize Oracle SQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimizing database performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with the development team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard the company and user data.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development of the lifecycle by identifying and addressing areas for enhancement.
- Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to support ongoing maintenance and future development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
- Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:

- Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, Postgres,
- Java 8/17/21+, Springboot Microservices, JPA, OracleDB, Junit, Mockito
- Cloud Migration solution architect, Java/Cloud/Microservices Design patterns, Event Driven architecture
- Additional Information:
- Communication skills must be good to be able to communicate with Client Tech and Business Stakeholders
- Coordination with the offshore developer teams and resolve technical issues promptly
