Job Title : Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Web Services, and APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable software components while collaborating with Agile/Scrum teams.

Experience with Apache Camel, Hive, Spark, and Hadoop is highly desirable.

Must have Skills

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Java

Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot

Experience developing and integrating Web Services and REST APIs

Experience with Apache technologies

Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle

Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy application components

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

Key Responsibilities

Design

Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Java-based application components.

Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Develop & Test

Develop, test, debug, and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

Develop and integrate Web Services and APIs.

Perform unit testing and support integration testing to ensure application quality.

Deploy & Support

Deploy application components across appropriate environments.

Troubleshoot technical issues and support application stability and performance.

Follow established coding, testing, and deployment best practices.

Agile/Scrum Collaboration

Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with developers, testers, business teams, and other stakeholders.

Contribute to sprint commitments and deliver high-quality components within timelines.
