Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java.
Develop scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Work with databases to design queries, optimize performance, and manage data.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and production problems.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
Implement unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.
Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Required Skills
6+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
Strong experience with Spring Boot an
d the Spring Framework.
Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Experience with Git and version control.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
