Java Backend Engineer

Job Duties: Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade backend applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Develop and maintain microservices-based systems applying design patterns such as Saga, Circuit Breaker, and Retry while supporting complex business workflows and event-driven processing using Apache Kafka. Implement secure backend services using Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT, and role-based access control. Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas and persistence layers using Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate. Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS using services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, and CloudWatch. Perform unit and integration testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver scalable and secure backend solutions.

Other: Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within US.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent + 5 years of Experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
