Role : Java Backend Lead

Location : Remote

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based backend applications and services.
• Drive technical architecture, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Manage sprint planning, effort estimation, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Support production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• REST APIs, Kafka/Messaging
• SQL/NoSQL Databases
• Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/Eligible to workP)
• CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices
• Agile/Scrum delivery
• Stakeholder management and team leadership

Experience: Typically 8+ years in Java backend development with prior technical/team leadership experience.
