Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Services Developer V with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud and event-driven architectures, microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), AWS, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

This role will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture through development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise backend applications and services using Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot.

• Develop and support microservices and event-driven architectures, applying Domain-Driven Design principles where appropriate.

• Design application components, APIs, interfaces, and system integrations using established software engineering practices and design patterns.

• Deploy and support applications in AWS cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Design and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve development, test, and production issues across multiple environments and platforms.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Develop technical documentation and support materials for users and development teams.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including strong Spring Boot expertise.

• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Java/Java EE.

• Hands-on experience with microservices, cloud architecture, and event-driven architecture.

• Strong understanding and practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS.

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and common software design patterns.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies, including JPA/Hibernate.

• Experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring MVC or comparable web frameworks.

• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications throughout the full SDLC.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
