Design, build, and operate backend services in Java (streaming engine, gateway APIs, auth/routing) that ingest Salesforce CDC/Platform Events into DynamoDB, Kinesis, and EventBridge.
Own components end to end: design docs, code, tests, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and on-call operations.
Improve reliability, latency, and cost of a multi-tenant fleet where no single tenant can take down the system.
Collaborate across auth, provisioning, and data-integrity teams; review code and raise the team's engineering bar.
Basic qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
Proficiency in a modern OO language (Java preferred) and data structures/algorithms.
Experience building, deploying, and operating production services.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with AWS (DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge, Lambda, SQS) and distributed/event-driven systems.
Familiarity with streaming/CDC pipelines, multi-tenant or cross-account architectures, and IaC (CDK/CloudFormation).
Strong ownership, operational excellence, and a track record of raising quality through design and code review.
