Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 8 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API development, Apigee, and AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable and secure microservices, developing and integrating REST APIs, working with API management platforms such as Apigee, and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and services.

• Work with Apigee API Management for API development, security, policies, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Implement API authentication, authorization, rate limiting, security policies, and traffic management.

• Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable Java code following industry best practices.

• Design and implement integrations between internal and external systems using APIs and microservices.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in AWS cloud environments.

• Work with AWS services to support application deployment, scalability, monitoring, and availability.

• Participate in application architecture, technical design, and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 10 years of professional experience in Java development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.

• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

• Strong experience developing Microservices and distributed applications.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and API integration.

• Strong experience with Apigee API Management.

• Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, policies, and lifecycle management.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based application deployment.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with Git and modern version-control practices.

• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

• Strong understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, and related cloud services.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of application performance monitoring and cloud observability tools.
