Java Developer

Title: Java Developer (Spring Boot/API/Camel) + AWS +Python

Location: Austin, AR (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Apache Camel
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Python
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and Full Stack Development
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and uDeploy
• Experience with Kafka, Oracle/SQL, MongoDB, and cloud-based applications
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Scala, and Python
• Experience with JSON, XML, SOAP, and RESTful services
• Familiarity with Quarkus, Kotlin, Reactive Frameworks, and Functional Programming
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and automated testing
• Strong scripting experience with Shell, JavaScript, and Python/Django
• Exposure to Golang, NodeJS, and TypeScript is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Full Stack applications and microservices.
• Develop robust RESTful services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
• Build and maintain front-end and back-end components based on business and user requirements.
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers supporting web applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Work on PoCs involving emerging technologies such as Hadoop and Cloud.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and stakeholders to convert wireframes into functional applications.
• Identify and drive process improvements and follow development best practices.
• Troubleshoot application, database, deployment, and performance issues.
• Demonstrate solutions to stakeholders and support product acceptance.
• Ensure applications are responsive, scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies and apply them to business needs.

Preferred

• Experience in Health Insurance domain is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to become productive from day one and work effectively under tight deadlines.
