About the Role
As a Mid-Level Java Developer at Apexon, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable applications and services that leverage cutting-edge technologies like Java, SpringBoot, MongoDB, Kafka, and AWS. You will play a pivotal role in implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs to enhance system performance and reliability. This role is critical to delivering robust solutions that address complex business needs while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performing Java-based applications using SpringBoot and RESTful APIs.
- Implement microservices architectures to ensure modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Python-based components and data processing pipelines.
- Optimize database operations using MongoDB, ensuring high availability and performance in large-scale systems.
- Design and implement event-driven systems using Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
- Leverage AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications.
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through rigorous CI/CD practices.
- Participate in architectural reviews and provide technical recommendations to enhance system design.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Java development, including hands-on experience with SpringBoot.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of MongoDB, Kafka, and cloud services like AWS.
- Experience with Python for scripting or backend integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Certification in AWS or Java-related technologies.
- Exposure to domain-specific applications in industries such as BFSI, healthcare, or e-commerce.
