Java Developer Contractor: 6-9 years (Advanced)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Java Developer to join our client's team in the financial services sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Strong Java development skills with experience leveraging AI throughout the SDLC.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS).
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Forerock.
• Familiarity with additional Java frameworks and tools.
