Overview
W2 Contract only, strong knowledge of complex stored procedures, preferably in DB2. PARM related data integration, including ingestion and delivery of rating inputs and outputs. Planning Analytics & Risk Management processes (scoring).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using full-stack Java technologies.
- Develop and maintain complex Stored Procedures using IBM DB2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.
- Utilize Git for source control and Jira for work tracking and sprint execution.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and recommend improvements to system design.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and services supporting Planning Analytics & Risk Management processes (scoring).
- Implement and maintain pricing model applications, with core logic in DB2 Stored Procedures.
- Partner with Product, Actuarial, and Rating teams to interpret rating requirements and convert into technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of rating data across policy administration platforms.
- Support PARM-related data integration, including ingestion and delivery of rating inputs and outputs.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to rating calculations, configuration deployments, rule changes, and data synchronization.
- Participate in unit testing and validation of rating logic, data, and configurations prior to model updates or releases.
- Contribute to modernization efforts aimed at improving scalability, maintainability, and performance of rating and model logic.
Requirements- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or comparable education and experience.
- Proven experience developing enterprise-level applications.
- Strong knowledge of complex stored procedures, preferably in DB2.
- Strong knowledge of full-stack Java development.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git workflows for version control.
- Experience using Jira for task management and sprint planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
