Job Title: Java Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA - Onsite Hybrid - 3 Days a week (folks need to come for R2 client interview in-person )
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with solid knowledge of messaging systems and multithreading. This role requires working in a hybrid onsite model and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build and support Microservices-based architectures
Develop and consume RESTful Web Services
Implement and optimize multithreaded and concurrent processing
Work with Kafka/MQ messaging systems for event-driven solutions
Perform SQL development and database integration with MS SQL
Conduct performance tuning and performance engineering
Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular or React
Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, QA, and DevOps teams
Support production deployments and troubleshooting
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Java Fundamentals
Proficiency in Spring Framework / Spring Boot
Experience with RESTful Web Services
Solid knowledge of Multi-Threading and Concurrency
Experience with Kafka or MQ messaging systems
Strong MS SQL / database integration skills
Experience in Performance Engineering and tuning
Good system design and problem-solving skills
Exposure to Angular or React
Familiarity with AI development tools (Copilot preferred)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
