Job Title: Java Developer – Healthcare Claims Processing Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid – Occasional Onsite) Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview: We are seeking a Java Developer with strong experience in Healthcare Claims Processing to join our agile development team. The role involves working on an enterprise-level system that manages end-to-end claims processing, including pricing, validation, and integration with external systems. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge of healthcare claims, proficiency in Java/Spring Framework, and hands-on experience with AWS and integration technologies. Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end claims processing, from intake to pricing and adjudication. Develop and maintain interfaces for claims pricing and validation. Design, implement, and enhance system functionality in an Agile environment. Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Partner with business and technical teams to implement new features and improvements. Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production systems as needed. Required Skills & Experience: 4+ years of hands-on development experience. Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework – MUST HAVE (Top Priority). Healthcare Claims Processing experience – MUST HAVE. X12 file format understanding – MUST HAVE. Integration experience with JMS and JPA – MUST HAVE. AWS concepts and services – MUST HAVE. Strong SQL skills – Preferred. Experience with Kubernetes – Helpful / Nice to Have. Experience with Snowflake and Angular – Preferred. Oracle as the primary database – prior experience preferred.L
