We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands -on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Messaging Queues, Caching and Angular to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high -performance applications seamlessly integrating Java -based backend systems with Angular -based front -ends. This role requires a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast -paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Develop and maintain Java -based backend applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop and maintain Angular -based front -end user interfaces with a focus on responsiveness, usability, and ADA/WCAG compliance.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with cross -functional teams, including business analysts, and APM/QA engineers, to gather and implement requirements.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and robustness.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java and Angular development.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have good experience doing code reviews and contribute to code quality and standards to ensure high -quality product delivery.<\/span>

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Contract Duration: 6/30/2027, with possibility of extension.<\/span>

    Onsite or Remote: Candidates MUST be local to Madison or near the Madison area, or willing to relocate to Madison prior to starting the role. Local candidates strongly preferred. The hired candidate can work 100% remote from within the Madison area but must be available to come into the office if needed.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Required Skills:<\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate/JPA, Message queuing, and caching.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Advanced skills in Angular (Angular 2+ required), Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience designing, creating, and documenting RESTful API using Spring Boot and OpenAPI.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Practical knowledge of, and experience with, various middleware platforms like Apache Kafka, Redis, and BOOMI.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and dynamic environment configuration.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience developing wire frames and mock -ups as a tool to communicate design concepts with stakeholders.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of relational databases.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent problem -solving and analytical skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Iterative, and waterfall development methodologies.<\/span>
