Job Title : Java Developer
Location : Irvine, CA
Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $35 - $45/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team for a 6-month project. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Core Java applications in Unix/Solaris environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be able to work onsite in Irvine, CA.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Core Java development
- Experience with Unix/Solaris environments
- Proficiency in executing and managing Java applications via Unix command line
- Ability to implement and manage database connections and MQ integrations
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with GUI & Rich Clients
- Strong skills in SQL query development and optimization
- Experience with messaging queues (MQ) for asynchronous communication
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Core Java applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application, database, and messaging layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and delivery
