Rate Range: $35 - $45/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java/JEE to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong foundation in modern architecture and a passion for innovation in technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Java/JEE.
  • Full stack engineering experience in a production environment.
  • Expert programming skills in Java/JEE and proficiency in software development best practices.
  • Experience with Spring framework & components, REST API’s, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Object-oriented Programming and experience with web services & API standards (REST/OAuth/JSON).
  • Ability to operate effectively independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical communication skills (written and oral).
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant internship or work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with modern web, Java and Java EE platforms including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and messaging technologies.
  • Familiarity with web stack technologies including JavaScript, CSS, JSON, AngularJS or similar frameworks.
  • Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Execute and own the baseline architecture implementations and design activities.
  • Work with existing and evolve services with minimum guidance.
  • Participate in R&D on new frameworks and identify performance bottlenecks with solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, high-performance services.
  • Provide guidance to teams on development standards, automation, and tools.
