- Strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented design
- Experience designing and building cloud-native applications
- Practical experience with AWS services and architecture
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as SQS, SNS, Kafka, or EventBridge
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with microservices or distributed service-oriented systems
- Experience with Docker and container-based development
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to define detailed design and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, and secrets management
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
