Role: Developer Premium III Location: Washington, DC 20433 Duration: 6 Months – Long Term Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon
Developer 's Skills : SQL, Dremio, Python, Java Experience, Numerix OneView preferable, Capital Markets products Experience with Market Data, Derivative products and Valuations
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and services
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Integrate third-party APIs, microservices, and backend systems as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong proficiency in Java (8+)
Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar
Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
