Java Frontend Developer with Angular

Job Summary (List Format):

- Serve as a Senior Hands-on Software Developer within the WAS Tech team, focusing on high-quality, consistent, and predictable software delivery.
- Implement best practices, tools, automation frameworks, and metrics for software development and testing processes.
- Design, develop, test, and support Single Page Applications (SPAs), RESTful APIs, and reusable frameworks/libraries for data quality, observability, and transformation.
- Collaborate with technical leads, scrum team members, and business partners to deliver solutions that meet business objectives in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Build services and features for assigned user stories using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to application development.
- Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, integration testing, and automation testing practices.
- Evaluate and tune application performance; ensure responsive and accessible web design according to WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Participate actively in agile/scrum-based software delivery teams.
- Use continuous integration and delivery tools such as GitHub and Git Actions.
- Work with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and cloud-native applications (PCF, AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Troubleshoot, detect, and remediate production application issues; provide clear communication during outages or incidents.
- Maintain and update documentation and knowledge repositories related to support activities.
- (Preferred) Experience in Wealth Management/Financial Services, building nonfunctional frameworks, REST APIs using messaging/streaming, and ensuring production support standards.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, team collaboration, and communication skills.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies as required.
