Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a mission-critical program within the National Security Sector. This role focuses on Cyber & Analytics, including Computer Network Operations (CNO), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. You will work within an Agile team to architect, develop, and integrate secure software solutions that drive national security innovation. Technical Skills: Front-End Development: Demonstrated familiarity with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Back-End Development: Proficiency in Java for building robust, scalable backend systems. Languages & Tools: Strong experience with modern programming languages and development environments. Systems & DevOps: Working knowledge of Linux environments and version control using Git. Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Eclipse, and Confluence for project tracking and development. Engineering Principles: Ability to implement complex algorithms and maintain high code quality standards. Functional Responsibilities: Software Lifecycle: Design, develop, and enhance secure software applications and systems. System Integration: Integrate new software solutions into evolving operational environments. User Analysis: Analyze user requirements to craft efficient, scalable, and reliable technical solutions. Optimization: Debug and optimize existing software to ensure peak performance and reliability. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and technical reports. Equivalency: An additional 4 years of professional software engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Residency: Local candidates in or near Columbia, MD are required for this on-site position.
