What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable payment platform solutions.
- Develop secure, high-quality full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Build, test, and deploy software using modern engineering tools including Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and automated testing frameworks.
- Support production issues, technical enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile delivery environment.
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, relational databases, and secure application development.
- Experience building enterprise applications using SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, DB2, JUnit, Mockito, Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Agile development practices.
- Knowledge of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and emerging GenAI technologies such as GitHub Copilot, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while managing changing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience within capital markets, financial services, or payment processing environments.
- Experience working with IBM MQ integrations.
- Previous experience supporting Freddie Mac or Client technology environments.
- Experience with FitNesse or other automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, security, and high-volume transactional systems.
