Java Full Stack Developer with AWS expertise is a software professional responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end web applications. They bridge the gap between frontend user interfaces, backend business logic, database management, and cloud infrastructure deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The primary roles and responsibilities are structured across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC):
- Backend Development & API Creation
- Build Core Logic: Design and develop scalable backend services and server-side applications using Java (versions 8, 11, or 17+).
- Framework Implementation: Utilize Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate to streamline application configuration, dependency injection, and data mapping.
- Develop RESTful APIs: Build and secure high-performing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to seamlessly pass data to frontend interfaces and third-party consumers.
- Frontend User Interface (UI) Development
- Client-Side Frameworks: Create dynamic, single-page web applications (SPAs) and responsive components using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js or Angular.
- Web Basics: Write clean, modular frontend code utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern layout techniques.
- Integration: Connect user interfaces with backend RESTful APIs, managing application state and seamless asynchronous data fetching.
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Compute & Hosting: Deploy backend architectures using cloud-native servers like AWS EC2 or fully managed solutions such as AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
- Serverless Computing: Write AWS Lambda functions to construct lightweight, event-driven processes and integrate them with API Gateway.
- Storage & Routing: Manage file storage with AWS S3 and set up routing, application security, and network scaling using tools like Route53, IAM, and Auto-Scaling groups.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Maintain environments using templates via AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate system provisioning.
- Database & Messaging Management
- Relational Storage: Set up, optimize, and connect applications to relational databases via AWS RDS (using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
- NoSQL Storage: Build highly scalable schemas using DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Data Streams & Queues: Handle message brokers and asynchronous tasks using Kafka, AWS SQS, or SNS for decoupled communication between services.
- DevOps, Testing, & Operations
- CI/CD Automations: Configure continuous integration and delivery pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Containerization: Package applications into portable environments using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or EKS.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain code health by conducting unit and integration tests (using JUnit, Mockito, or Jest) and performing structured peer code reviews.
- Monitoring & Security: Track logs, debug production issues, and monitor application performance metrics via AWS CloudWatch
