Immediate need for a talented Java/.Net developer with Mainframe. This is a 18 month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities: Lead Mainframe and .NET modernization initiatives, including Proof of Concepts (POCs) using AI/LLM-assisted methodologies. Perform legacy code analysis, reverse engineering, refactoring, and automated code transformation for modernization projects. Work with legacy mainframe technologies and support migration to modern platforms such as Java and Informatica. Implement automation-driven modernization strategies to accelerate legacy application transformation. 7 years of experience in .NET, Mainframe systems, and LLM-assisted code transformation/modernization with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills: .NET, JAVA, Mainframe, Modernization Financial services Must Have: 3 Years of Mainframe and .NET modernization experience 8 years of total software development experience 5 years of JAVA/.NET 2 years of Mainframe.
