Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer IV/V to join our dynamic team supporting a high-impact sanctions screening program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Oracle, Unix, CI/CD, and Autosys and a proven ability to deliver robust, scalable features and system enhancements on schedule in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and unit test Java services and components for sanctions screening solutions.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, project leads, and technical architects.
- Implement deployments and operational workflows on OpenShift/Kubernetes using CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to major initiatives involving new feature development and system enhancements with attention to scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications across Oracle databases and Unix environments.
- Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Autosys to ensure timely processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle and familiarity with Unix shell operations.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using Autosys for job scheduling.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while meeting timelines and quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial crime or sanctions screening domains.
- Exposure to niche vendor screening tools and integration patterns.
