Title: Java / Python Developer – L3 Production Support
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $50 - $55/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Java/Python Developer – L3 Production Support professional with strong expertise in application support, incident management, and troubleshooting of business-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring high system availability and performance. Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Python scripting, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments is required.
Candidates should be proficient in analyzing application logs, resolving complex technical issues, supporting batch processes, and coordinating with development and infrastructure teams.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK, or CloudWatch is highly preferred.
The role involves defect fixes, performance tuning, release support, automation of operational tasks, and continuous service improvement initiatives. Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident/problem management, and production support best practices is essential.
Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains is highly desirable.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies will be an added advantage. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role.
