Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java and Scala.
- Build scalable and reliable solutions supporting Bond Trade Processing.
- Develop and integrate APIs with internal and external systems.
- Support the organization's strategic Post Trade Technology roadmap.
- Develop reusable application components that follow established architecture and coding standards.
- Design and implement services using Spring Boot, where applicable.
- Develop and support event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Analyze existing platform functionality and support migration to strategic technology solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, Product Owners, QA professionals, and other development teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support application deployments, release validation, and production issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation for application design, APIs, integrations, and implementation changes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery activities.
- Follow established SDLC, security, coding, testing, and release-management standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
