Job Description
Job Title: Senior Java / Spring Boot Developer
Location: Chicago,IL (60603) — Within 50 Miles
Salary Range: $65/hr W2 – $70/hr W2
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java (30%)
- 8+ years of experience with Spring Boot & Microservices (30%)
- 5+ years of experience with Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ (15%)
- 5+ years of experience with REST APIs / REST Web Services (10%)
- 3+ years of experience with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock for unit/integration testing (5%)
- Experience with Git, Swagger, PCF, JSON, and YAML/YML
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, SDLC, API development, and database integration
- Experience developing, documenting, testing, and deploying scalable microservices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
