Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Java Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend applications, ensuring high performance and seamless integration across enterprise systems.

Rate Range: $65/Hour to $70/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Technical Lead Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability while ensuring high availability across cloud-based environments.

• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services to streamline data flow and support business-critical applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver enterprise-grade software.

• Mentor and guide development teams through code reviews, best practices, and adherence to software development standards.

• Drive cloud-native development initiatives utilizing AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices to support modern application architectures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, backend architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, API development, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.

• Proven experience working with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, and CloudFormation, along with database design and performance optimization.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
