Pay Rate: $91.00 - $96.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and implementation of key components of the Market Risk platform.
• Communicate with product leads to discuss opportunities for improvement in technology solutions.
• Implement scalable and high-performance computing solutions for market risk analysis.
• Deploy containerized solutions and integrate with modern data platforms like Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts for high-quality solutions.
• Optimize risk data processing pipelines for improved efficiency and response time.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are accurately implemented in market risk technology.
• Work in an Agile development environment for timely product delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of core Java concepts and frameworks like Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Java Full Stack with REACT and large data volumes.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience in building high-scaled and performant software platforms for data processing.
• Knowledge of containerized deployments and cloud-native architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with caching solutions like Pinot and Redis.
• Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to guide junior staff and manage multiple initiatives.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Java-based backend development and distributed system design.
• Background in financial services, especially within Market Risk or FinTech.
