Overview:
A warm, close-knit Palm Beach family is looking for an experienced and energetic nanny to become a consistent, trusted presence in their home. Their two children, ages 4 and 7, are active, curious, and full of personality, and this family is ready to invest in the right person for the long term. They want someone who shows up with intention, builds a real bond with the kids, and genuinely loves what they do. If you bring a natural “big sister” energy, take initiative without being asked twice, and communicate openly and warmly, this family wants to meet you.
This is a full-time position with a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule. Every Monday and Tuesday off. Wednesday through Friday 2:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday 11:00am - 10:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive care for two children
- Supporting after-school and weekend routines
- Driving children to activities and appointments (nanny vehicle provided)
- Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- Supporting homework and structured evening routines
- Preparing simple meals or coordinating dinner when needed, mainly Saturdays
- Keeping children’s areas tidy and organized
- Assisting with light child-related household tasks
- Supporting healthy routines and positive behavior guidance
Qualifications:
- Friendly, engaging, and energetic personality
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and organized
- Ability to maintain structure and consistency
- Strong references from previous childcare roles
- Comfortable working with school-aged children
- US passport and ability to travel, a plus
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years verifiable childcare experience
- Valid driver’s license and confident driver
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- Comfortable transporting children
- Fluent English speaking
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Able to work independently while maintaining communication with the parent
Salary and Benefits:
- $35++ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
