Jennie-O Turkey Store - 2nd Shift Machine Operator - Barron, WI

Hourly pay: Hire is $22.20, 6 months $22.56, 1 year $23.21

Job Responsibilities

• Work on production lines processing various products
• Help maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules
• Help ensure only safe, wholesome, quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices
• Perform other position specific duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts
• No restrictions standing on a concrete floor for 8-12 hours
• Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 32-40 degrees
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions, such as: twisting, turning, bending and reaching
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Must wear a hairnet, hard hat, ear muffs, safety glasses, steel toe boots and or other personal protective equipment as required for the position
• Must be able to work with large groups as a team and also be able to work unsupervised

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous machine operator experience is a plus
• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills
