Jennie-O Turkey Store - Live Haul Truck Driver - Barron, WI

Hourly pay rate: $24.25 - $34.00, based on experience

Varied start and end times

Job Responsibilities

1. Safely and effectively haul birds from the farms to the plant

2. Follow all DOT rules and regulations

3. All applicants need to also fill out the Truck Driver Application in the H.R. Office once the online application is completed

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Must not be convicted of no more than one moving violation in the last 12 months, or no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months while on company or personal time
• Must not be convicted of no more than zero OWI offenses in the last 12 months, or no more than one OWI offense in the last 36 months while on personal time
• Possess a current Wisconsin Commercial Vehicle Operators License
• No performance work actions in the last 6 months
• No attendance work actions in the last 6 months
• PHYSICAL: No current restrictions prohibiting repetitive lifting, bending or twisting
• No current restrictions prohibiting the use of respiratory & eye protection equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Over one year of live bird handling experience
• Previous verifiable driver experience
• The Jennie-O Turkey Store Company''s driving certificate
• No moving violation and/or OWI offense within the last 36 months
• Must have Tanker endorsement

Response Process

To be considered for this position you must have completed six (6) months in your present position. Team Members with less than six (6) months may be considered for promotion or transfer based on the needs of the company.
