Position Summary
Colby-Sawyer College seeks an instructor to teach Jewelry & Metalsmithing on-site in the classroom for the Fall 2026 semester. This course requires a minimum of a master's degree and teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
ART247/347 Jewelry & Metalsmithing I/II
The School of Arts and Sciences seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Jewelry & Metalsmithing in fall 2026. This is a 4-credit multi-level studio art course (ART247/347) wherein students explore the forms and functions of the medium. The focus of the course is on the production of jewelry and/or small-scale metal sculpture. Students work with precious and non-precious metal and stones students to learn some of the traditional methods of jewelry fabrication and design.
