One Day Jewelry & Repair at 410 N. West St., is seeking a full time, jewelry sales associate in our family owned and operated business. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and identify customer needs
Explain products and services to customers
Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
Enter and process customer orders
Assess and receive in jewelry and related merchandise from customers
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales and customer service required
Knowledge of jewelry products preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to perform basic financial calculations
Strong negotiation skills
Must be able to dress professionally at all times
Ability to stand for a long period of time during business hours
Must be self-motivated
Excellent organizational skills will be required
Possess great interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure to achieve set goals
Excellent attention to detail will be a key requirement
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of jewelry retail sales experience or retail sales experience
Must have evening availability and availability to work one weekend day each week
Must be able to pass a background check and a Basic Math Skills test.
