Job Title: Jira Developer / Atlassian Administrator

Location: Atlanta GA - Local Candidates Preferred
Type: Full time


Our client is seeking a Jira Developer/Administrator to support and enhance Jira and Confluence environments for enterprise and government-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Jira/Confluence environments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build and support applications using Jira Service Desk
  • Customize workflows, dashboards, permissions, and automation
  • Collaborate with customers, Business Analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Configure and manage Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes
  • Support Jira Service Desk implementations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, boards, filters, and workflow customizations
  • Develop integrations and platform enhancements
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting and end-user support
  • Research, test, and implement Jira and Confluence add-ons
  • Assist in developing custom integrations and extensions for Jira/Confluence
  • Create documentation, technical specifications, and test plans for new features and enhancements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide user support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of Jira Administration/Development experience
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting is highly preferred
  • Experience with JQL and SDLC methodologies
  • Experience developing custom add-ons and integrations
  • Ability to automate and extend Jira/Confluence functionality
  • Knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery) and CSS for UI development
  • Experience with Jira Service Desk, BitBucket, and Jenkins
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Additional Requirements

  • Must be local to Atlanta, GA
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
