Job Title: Technical Job Captain

Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Job Captain with strong Revit/BIM expertise to support the design and delivery of healthcare and related projects. This role plays a key part in the technical development, coordination, and documentation of projects from design through construction. Working closely with the Project Architect and Project Manager, the Technical Job Captain ensures design intent is translated into clear, coordinated construction documents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working collaboratively with consultants, and contributing to the successful delivery of high-performance projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and coordination of the Revit/BIM model and drawing set.
• Produce and coordinate construction documentation across disciplines.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Assist in translating design intent into detailed architectural solutions.
• Participate in internal quality reviews and drawing coordination.
• Support construction phase activities, including submittal and RFI review/response.

Essential Skills

• 8 to 10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based documentation workflows.
• Experience working on healthcare, institutional, or other technically complex projects.
• Understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and consultant coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative, involving regular interaction with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail, working primarily with Revit and BIM-based documentation systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $93.00/hr.
