Minot North is looking for a motivated individual to work at the Cross Roads Program at Minot State with transition students. A majority of the day will be spent job coaching students at various worksites throughout Minot.
SUMMARY
Under basic supervision, coaches special education students who require assistance in the transition from school to independent living in the adult world and work; assists students with vocational, lifestyle, and community interaction issues.

Education, Training and Experience Guidelines
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND one year of experience working with Special Education students; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid North Dakota State Driver's License is required. Specific First Aid training courses are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in classrooms and at work sites, and requires working with children; may be required to physically restrain students if they are at risk of hurting themselves or others.
