Job Coach (Special Needs) open in Brooklyn

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, motivated Job Coaches to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.
This community-based position provides hands-on coaching, training, and ongoing support at participants' job sites.

Schedule

•1 Opening: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM
• 2 Openings: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM (occasional weekends)
• 40-hour workweek

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 15–25 individuals.
• Provide on-site job coaching and support.
• Teach and model job tasks.
• Assist with transportation when needed.
• Complete case notes and documentation.
• Monitor participant progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• DSP experience a plus.
• Teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Additional Information
This is a community-based position requiring approximately 90% local travel. Travel expenses are reimbursed.

Salary: $18-22 per hour plus travel reimbursement.
