The Job Developer will provide job placement services to the clients that are enrolled into the JEVS The Choice is Yours Diversion program, and the clients that are receiving post-release services that have been released to Philadelphia from the JEVS Get Ready, Get Set, Get Out Re-entry program.
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Philadelphia Defenders Association, Philadelphia Criminal Municipal Court, PDDC Philadelphia Department of prisons, BCC/DOC
Collaborate to provide job search and job placement activities such as unsubsidized employment, unpaid work experience, and Community Service opportunities.
Use assessment results and software for customized job development, matching, and placement.
Identify employers open to hiring clients with a criminal background with potential job openings.
Develop job leads for clients with area second chance employers. Set up interviews with employers.
Develop ongoing relationships with second-chance employers.
Meet and develop relationships with D&R clients needing employment.
Engage D&R clients in the direction of employment.

The base pay for this position ranges from $39,000 to $46,500 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
