As a Job Developer, that's just what you'll do!

Career Path Services is seeking a Job Developer to join our Human Services team. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of people and business, partnering with job seekers to understand their goals while building strong relationships with employers and community partners to create pathways to employment. The Job Developer delivers personalized employment services that help individuals gain confidence, develop job readiness skills, and secure opportunities that support long-term success. This position supports a range of programs, including WorkFirst and other TANF-aligned services, with a focus on career coaching, employer engagement, job placement, retention support, and helping customers navigate barriers to employment.

People who thrive in this role are natural connectors who enjoy building trust, creating opportunities, and helping others reach their goals. They bring strong interpersonal and case management skills, but are equally energized by the outreach side of the work, proactively engaging employers, making introductions, cold calling, presenting services, and building new community partnerships. Success requires someone who is comfortable initiating conversations, confident representing Career Path Services in front of groups and businesses, and motivated by turning relationships into employment outcomes. Strong attention to detail, follow-through, solutions focused and administrative excellence are equally important to ensure customer progress, documentation, and program requirements stay on track.
