1st shift is Monday - Friday 6AM to 2PM

Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Stocker will cut and prep all merchandise for the order selector. This role is responsible for accurately stocking and organizing merchandise within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. GENERAL PURPOSE:
Prepares merchandise for order selectors.

Responsibilities
•Stock and organize merchandise in designated areas within the distribution center.
•Verify product information, lot numbers, and expiration dates when applicable.
•Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
•Ensure compliance with all safety and operational guidelines.
•Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
•Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred.
•Previous experience in stocking or warehouse operations preferred (0–2 years).
•Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
•Good written and verbal communication skills;ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
•Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job task.

COMPETENCIES:
•See Work Instruction for specific Job duties.
•Cut cardboard and cellophane off case merchandise carefully, to expose merchandise for order picking.
•Stock full cases onto pick lines in proper location and in proper position for picking.
•Discard scrap cardboard and plastic in proper receptacles.
•Remove empty pallets from floor pile locations and stack in designated areas.
•Frequent overtime offered, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
•Assist in all Housekeeping of the department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
•Physical demands: This position has a lifting requirement of over 100 lbs for 0% to 33% of the time and frequent 50 lbs for 34%to 66% of the time. Other physical activities include bending/reaching/stooping 67% to 100% of the time and walking/standing/climbing 67% to 100% of the time.
•Work environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
•Never step on or jump over a conveyor line. Never place hands in rollers and/or conveyor. If an issue occurs with a roller or conveyor line, pull the emergency stop cord and contact your supervisor and/or facility services.
