ROLE OVERVIEW
Berk Trade School  is seeking a dynamic, energetic and goal oriented individual .
 The Job Placement Coordinator is responsible for assisting graduates of the electrical and plumbing helper training programs in securing employment. This position develops relationships with employers, coordinates student job placement activities, provides career coaching, and tracks employment outcomes. The coordinator serves as a liaison between students, graduates, instructors, and industry employers to ensure successful workforce placement. 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, plumbing  companies, staffing agencies, and other industry employers.like general contractors
Match qualified graduates with available employment opportunities.
Assist students with resume preparation, interview skills, and job search strategies.
Schedule and coordinate employer interviews, career fairs, and hiring events.
Conduct follow-up with graduates and employers to verify employment status and job satisfaction.
Maintain accurate placement records, employment statistics, and employer contacts.
Meet or exceed established job placement goals and performance metrics.
Promote graduates to employers by highlighting their skills, certifications, and training.
Stay informed about local labor market trends and employment opportunities within the electrical and plumbing industries.
Ensure compliance with school policies and applicable accreditation or regulatory requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service to students, graduates, and employer partners.

Experience
 Experience in job placement, career services, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, or employer relations preferred. 
 Ability to build partnerships with local employers and community organizations. 
Compensation: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour
