Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Bread Maker / Dough Maker to join our production team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of bread production—from mixing and shaping to fermentation and baking—and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Scale, mix, and prepare doughs according to recipes and production schedules
- Monitor fermentation, proofing, and baking times for quality and consistency
- Operate and maintain commercial bakery equipment (mixers, sheeters, dividers, proofers, ovens)
- Portion, shape, and prepare doughs for proofing and baking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
- Assist with ingredient inventory and storage
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional baking or dough-making experience preferred
- Knowledge of bread-making techniques, fermentation, and dough hydration
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow recipes and procedures
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

These baked goods are under the supervision of the prestigious and well respected Orthodox Rabbinical Board of Broward (ORB), ensuring our customers that they are always served quality fresh products.
All of our products are PARVE, Pat Yisroel & Kemach Yoshon (when available). With the fresh, delicious, and beautiful kosher goods that are baked on site, it is no surprise that Chef Ness is growing and now caters events throughout South Florida. We have become the first Premier Gourmet Glatt Kosher Bakery in Broward County and South Florida combined. The variety of warm pastries, cookies, breads and unique event cakes allow our customers to have a taste of tradition and to share that heritage with those they love.
Our head pastry chef Nissim Sabach uses his 20+ years of experience and his passion for baking to design custom cakes. These cakes are one of a kind and can be made to compliment invitations, color schemes and the overall theme of an event. Although we can create any traditional cake, we specialize in modern and elegant cake designs that become the centerpiece of the party.
